Google is our primary search and advertising provider!
Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site and ads within our search results pages.
Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and other sites on the Internet.

What is 'interest based' advertising?
'Interest based' advertising enables advertisers to reach users based on their interest (e.g. 'surfing enthusiasts'), and allows them to show ads based on a user's previous interactions with them, such as visits to advertisers websites.

Even if surftube.com.au chooses to opt out of displaying ads based on interest categories, our site(s) will continue to show ads based on interactions with an advertiser, such as visits to advertiser sites.

In most cases the video will have been embedded with in our site and streamed directly from the You Tube domain it's self.
You Tube can transfer cookies when users visit a web page that a You Tube video resides on, but in this case surftube.com.au has chosen to only embeds video that has 'delayed cookies' mode enabled.
You Tubes 'delayed cookies' embed player enables surftube.com.au to turn off YouTubes ability to set cookies on the computer of a visitor who simply views an surftube.com.au web page on which an embedded You Tube video resides.

Yes! If you double click on an embedded You Tube videos screen area you will be taken to the original You Tube page that the video resides on.

On most of the surftube.com.au domains pages we provide a tool to share content or pages of interest to you or others.
The sharing tool that is provided at this time is called the 'AddThis' button, this button is embedded on the pages within the surftube.com.au domain, some times it's embedded multiple times per page, and lets users send the page link to friends via direct email, also to social networks and page interest sites such as Face Book, Digg, Delicious and more.
The AddThis tool or widget also allows uses to access their address book held with in their accounts they hold with several major email providers, uses can access their address book buy typing their email address and password directly into the AddThis widget upon which users will access to their contacts to make a choice who to send the desired link to.

How do we and will we in the protect your information now and in the future?
We will offer the use of a secure server, no later then before the time surftube.com.au accepts sensitive/secure information off any user for the fist time.

At this stage the only information possibly kept longer then 60 days will be that of companies or individuals with and interest or in negotiations for buying the surftube.com.au domain.

We keep this information in order to contact these interested companies or individuals about changes to our needs and other general communication needs.
